My fever wont come down and the report came typhoid positive. Im in my first trimester and very worried what this does to the baby. Has anyone here gone through typhoid during pregnancy?
Typhoid with high fever is something you really shouldnt manage at home in pregnancy. I had a fever episode and my gynac wanted to see me right away. Please get treated under a doctor properly, dont delay.
Haan typhoid mein fever zyada hota hai na, so dont take it lightly. My cousin had it during pregnancy and the doctor handled it well with proper care. Bas test karwa lo and follow the doc.
It needs proper treatment because the fever itself is the concern in pregnancy. The good news is it is treatable when caught early. Just dont self medicate, let your doctor pick safe medicines.
