My periods just ended and we were intimate the very next day. I always assumed those days are safe but now im second guessing myself. Is it actually possible to get pregnant right after periods?
It's less likely right after periods but not impossible, especially if your cycle is short. Sperm survives a few days so it can overlap with early ovulation. Agar short cycle hai to chances rehte hai.
Haan ho sakta hai na, especially jinka cycle short hota hai. Mere cousin ko aise hi ho gaya tha jab cycle 24 din ka tha. So safe period wali baat pe fully bharosa mat karo.
With my irregular cycles from PCOS, timing was never predictable so I never assumed any days were safe. If your cycles are irregular too, it's hard to say. A doctor can guide on your fertile window better.
I researched this while trying. For most women fertile days come a bit later, around mid cycle. But with shorter cycles, conceiving soon after periods is possible. Tracking ovulation cleared it up for me.
