My mom keeps soaking anjeer for me every morning saying its good for baby. But I saw something online and got confused if its actually safe in all trimesters. Anyone eating figs regularly?
Yes figs are great, good for iron and digestion. I soaked dried figs and had them as a snack. Just keep the portion small since dried fruit is high in sugar.
Anjeer is very good beta, we soak a couple overnight and eat in the morning. It helps with constipation which is so common in pregnancy. Just two or three pieces is enough, dont eat a whole bowl.
Figs are healthy but dried ones are quite sugary, so just be mindful of quantity. I had to count them carefully because of my GD. If your sugar is normal, two soaked figs a day is a nice amount.
