Yes, a transvaginal scan at 6 weeks can tell if the pregnancy is ectopic or in the uterus. I remember being so anxious about my 6-week scan, but once the doc said everything was fine, I went straight and had hot samosas! Just get the scan done and consult your gynac if you feel any pain.

My saas was saying that early scans aren't needed, but I insisted on going at 6 weeks because my gynac said it's crucial to rule out ectopic pregnancy. Yes, it can detect it at 6 weeks. It's always better to be safe and listen to the doctor.
Looking back at my first trimester, the 6-week scan was when they checked the placement. An ultrasound can definitely detect where the baby is implanted, including ectopic pregnancy. Don't worry, just trust your doctor and get the scan done on time.
