My test came positive and gynac has called me for a scan but im barely 5 weeks i think. Thoda doubt hai whether they will even see anything this early ya not. Anyone went for scan this soon?
Haan ji, 5 weeks pe usually doctor gestational sac dekh lete hain. Sometimes a tiny yolk sac also. My parents were so excited when we saw that little circle on the screen, it felt so real then! The heartbeat usually comes a bit later, around 6-7 weeks. Don't worry, it's a lovely journey.

Oh yes, at 5 weeks they can definitely spot a gestational sac. For me, it was even funnier, they spotted ONE sac at 5 weeks and then at 7 weeks, BAM! Double trouble, haha. So yeah, they can see something, just don't be surprised if it multiplies later. Kidding! Mostly. 😉

At 5 weeks, my doc could see the gestational sac clearly. It's still very very early, so just a small sac will be there, maybe a tiny dot inside. Don't expect to see much more, okay? Just means everything is starting to settle in your uterus. It's a very special feeling to see even that tiny beginning.
