Can ultrasound detect pregnancy before missed period?
Im like a week away from my period and feeling all kinds of symptoms already. Too impatient to wait honestly. Was wondering if a scan can show anything this early or its waste of time right now.
I rushed for an early scan out of excitement and they couldn't see anything, I worried so much for nothing. They told me it's just too early. Save yourself the stress and wait a bit, blood test is the early answer.
My doctor said it's usually too early for ultrasound before a missed period, the sac is too tiny to see clearly. A blood hCG test is the better choice that early. Scan normally shows things only a week or two after the missed period.
Honestly before missed period ultrasound won't show much, it's just too soon. Wait for the period to be late then a scan or even better a blood test. I went too early once and the doctor said come back after some days.
