My period is 5 days late and i noticed my urine looks darker and kind of cloudy lately. My MIL keeps saying you can tell from the colour itself. Is there any truth to this or am i just overthinking yaar?

Colour alone means nothing for pregnancy, it is about hydration usually. A test kit detects the actual pregnancy hormone, that is what you need. For confirmation a blood test at the lab is even more reliable.
If urine colour told us we were pregnant, no company would sell test kits haha. It only tells me I need to drink more water honestly. Stick to the proper kit.

These urine colour and toothpaste tricks keep going viral but they are not real tests. My app clearly said only a hcg test confirms it. Save yourself the confusion and just use a strip in the morning.
