Can walking too much during pregnancy cause cramping?
I walked a lot yesterday because we went shopping for baby stuff and at night my lower tummy felt thoda crampy. Im in my second trimester. Got a little worried if i overdid it. Anyone else felt this after long walking?
Walking is great but listen to your body na. I used to push too hard and would get that pulling feeling, my doc told me to keep it gentle and stop when tired. Short walks more often instead of one long tiring one.
Dont scare yourself. Mild cramps after too much walking just means you tired yourself out, take it slow next time. Keep your water bottle handy and rest your legs up for a bit.
For me cramping wasnt always from walking, so please dont just assume. If you feel cramps with any bleeding or it doesnt settle with rest, get it checked. Better safe.
Actually yaar a little cramping after a long walk is normal, your body is carrying extra weight. I would just rest and drink lots of water. But agar bahut tez ho toh ignore mat karo, ask doc.
Overdoing it can leave you with mild cramps and a tight belly, yes. Just slow down, sit, drink water. But if cramps are sharp or dont go after rest, dont guess, call your gynac.
I walk to and from station daily and yes some days my belly would cramp from doing too much. I started breaking it up, walking little and sitting little. Works better than one big push.
