We have to shift to a new flat next month and i'll be around 6 months by then. the packing and all the lifting is worrying me, plus elders say avoid moving during pregnancy. anyone shifted while pregnant, how did u manage?
We shifted during my pregnancy too, my saas insisted i not lift anything and just rest. Honestly that was good advice na. You can change house, just no heavy work and take plenty breaks.
Generally fine but if you've had any bleeding or your doc advised rest, then be careful and ask her first. In my case i was told no lifting or stress at all. So just confirm with your gynac if everything's smooth.
Of course beta, just take it slow and dont strain yourself. Let others lift the heavy stuff, you only supervise. Keep yourself hydrated and rest in between. Middle months are usually the comfortable time for this.
Totally doable yaar, dont stress. Just delegate all the lifting and packing, you take charge of decorating the new place instead. Second trimester is the best time to do this kind of thing.
Yes you can, just dont do the heavy lifting yourself. We shifted in my 5th month, i only managed the planning and let everyone else carry boxes. Pace it out over days, dont try to finish in one tiring go.
