I have some bleeding going on but its lighter than my usual periods and im confused. Can i even take a test right now or should i wait for it to stop? actually quite anxious about this.
You can technically do a test, but if you are having a normal heavy period, you are likely not pregnant. Sometimes spotting is mistaken for periods, so testing then is fine.
If it's your usual heavy period flow, there's no point in testing. But if it's just very light spotting, it could be implantation bleeding, so a test might be useful.
My doctor at Fortis mentioned that true menstrual bleeding means no pregnancy. If you are confused about your bleeding type, it's best to consult your hospital staff.
Don't stress too much, but if you are already bleeding, a pregnancy test might not be needed. However, sometimes light spotting happens in early pregnancy, so you can test if you suspect that.
If the bleeding is heavy, it's just your period. But if you have severe pain with light bleeding, please skip the home remedies and visit your doctor immediately.
