We stay on second floor and no lift, so i climb stairs daily. Im just 7 weeks and my MIL keeps panicking everytime i go up. Is climbing actually a problem this early or am i overthinking?
My doctor told me that climbing stairs is completely safe in early pregnancy unless u have bleeding, cramping, or a history of miscarriage. They advised to just maintain a slow pace and avoid slipping.
Honestly, dont stress too much about it! Unless your doc told u to take bed rest, normal stair climbing is perfectly safe. Just walk slowly and don't carry heavy bags.
Stairs are totally fine as a light workout if your pregnancy is normal and doc allowed walking/yoga. Just go slow, dont rush, and hold the railing for safety.
I lived on the second floor with no lift, so I had to climb stairs daily during my early weeks. It was perfectly fine, but I always made sure to take small breaks between floors.
Beta, try to avoid climbing too many stairs if possible in early pregnancy. Walk very slowly, step by step, and take rest if u feel tired or have any back pain.
