I think i already crossed my ovulation day this cycle but we got busy and missed the right time. Now im wondering if there's still any chance left this month or do i wait for next cycle. share if you know na.
With PCOS I never even knew exactly when I ovulated, so I'd suggest tracking with strips or asking your gynac. Made the whole timing thing far less stressful for me.
From what my gynac explained, the egg lives only about 12-24 hours after ovulation, so the window to conceive after it is very short. The better chance actually comes from intercourse in the days just before and on ovulation since sperm survive longer.
My app always marked the fertile days as the few days leading up to ovulation, not really after. Once the egg is gone the chance drops a lot. So aim for before and on the day.
I read the same, the day or two right after ovulation can still work but its a slim window. So we try to focus more on the build up days. Anyone conceived right after though?
