My period is due in like 4 days but im sooo impatient and keep wanting to test. Is there any way to actually know for sure before the date or do i just have to wait it out? waiting is killing me na.
My doctor told me a blood test (beta hCG) can pick it up a few days before the period is due, earlier than urine tests. Home tests before missed period can give false negative because hormone is still low. So technically yes but waiting till missed period is more reliable.
I tested 2 days before my period because I couldnt wait and it was negative, then positive after 3 days. So it confused me a lot. Wait a bit longer if u can, the early ones lie sometimes.
Urine test before period mostly comes wrong. If u really cant wait, get a blood test from lab, that detects earlier. Otherwise just wait for the missed period, saves u the false alarm.
I know the wait is the hardest part beta. Early testing just stresses u more with unclear lines. Give it till ur period date and then test with morning urine, much clearer.
