Im a regular at the gym and we've decided to start trying for a baby. Now im not sure if i should cut down on my workouts or keep going as usual. Anyone continued exercising while planning, did it affect anything?
Totally, I just kept it realistic with brisk walks and a bit of stretching since I had no time for fancy gym routines. Being active helped my cycles too. You dont need a big plan, just stay consistent and dont strain.
Yes and honestly it helps. I kept up walking and light yoga while we were trying, my doctor said staying fit is great prep for pregnancy. Just dont overdo intense workouts to the point of exhaustion. Always good to confirm with your gynac based on your health.
We are planning too and I was wondering the same. So moderate exercise is encouraged, that is reassuring. I think I will start regular walks and check with my doctor about anything heavier.
