I used to go gym regularly before and now im 10 weeks. Missing my workouts honestly. Is it ok to continue, maybe light weights? anyone who kept going to gym while pregnant pls share.
You can definitely stay active! 🌸 Just skip the heavy weightlifting and intense cardio. Light walking or pregnancy yoga is super safe, but do ask your doctor first!
With twins, gym was a big fat no for me! But even with a single pregnancy, heavy weights are risky. Better stick to normal walking unless your doctor gives a green light for gym.
Medically, exercise is great, but gymming needs caution. No heavy lifting or exercises lying flat on your back after the first trimester. Always consult your gynac before continuing gym.
I had a lot of anxiety because of my PCOS, so I completely avoided the gym and only stuck to gentle 30-minute walks. If you really want to gym, please get your doctor's approval first.
I totally understand wanting to stay fit, dear, but please be so gentle with yourself. Your body is doing such beautiful, hard work inside. Only do very light exercises after asking your gynac.
Beta, pregnancy is not the time for gym and heavy lifting. Just do gentle walking in the park morning and evening, that is more than enough and very safe for the baby.
