Have a wedding coming up and my hair is total mess these days. Was thinking of getting smoothening done but not sure if its safe with all those chemicals right now. Anyone did it during pregnancy?
Why waste money and take risks with chemicals right now? Just do a simple home hair spa with curd and honey, it's safe, cheap, and works great for frizzy hair.
Honestly, the strong smell of those salon chemicals would make me throw up my favorite lunch! I'd say skip the harsh salon stuff for now and treat yourself to some nice food instead.
Between office and pregnancy fatigue, I didn't want to sit in a salon chair for 4 hours breathing in heavy chemical fumes. Better to hold off on smoothening until after the baby is born.
My doctors at Cloudnine strictly advised against chemical hair treatments during the first two trimesters. It's always best to call your hospital coordinator and ask your specific gynac first.
