We just found out im pregnant n both of us are a bit unsure about this now. its such early days and i dont want to risk anything. would love to know what others did in their first month.
In a normal healthy pregnancy it is generally safe, the baby is well protected. But if you have any spotting, pain or a history of miscarriage, check with your doctor first. Otherwise it is usually fine.
Generally yes its fine if your pregnancy is normal, dont stress. Baby is well cushioned in there. Just if anything feels off like bleeding or pain, pause and check with the doc.
I was shy to ask this too. From what my doctor told a friend, its usually safe in a healthy pregnancy. But its always okay to just ask your own gynac quietly, they get these questions all the time.
For me the doctor had advised to avoid it early on because I had some spotting. So it really depends on your situation. If everything is normal it is usually fine, but please confirm with your gynac, especially in the first month.
I asked my gynac this same thing. She said in an uncomplicated pregnancy intimacy is safe and does not harm the baby. The exceptions are if there is bleeding, cramping or a high risk situation, then she advises caution. So depends on your individual case.
