I used to skip with a rope every morning before i got pregnant, it was my main workout. Now im 9 weeks and not sure if all that jumping is safe for the baby. Did anyone continue skipping in early pregnancy?
Both times I avoided jumping type exercises. Walking and light stretches kept me active enough. Save the skipping for after delivery, no need to take chances now.
I love skipping normally but stopped during pregnancy, the jumping and jerks arent ideal. I switched to walking and prenatal yoga that my doctor allowed. Better to avoid high impact stuff, ask your gynac.
I wouldnt risk skipping, the bouncing isnt worth it. Gentle walking is much safer. Please confirm any exercise with your doctor before starting, every pregnancy is different.
