Can we do stomach exercise while trying to conceive?
we are ttc since couple months and i dont wanna stop my workout fully. but is doing core/ab exercises okay during this time or should i go easy? bas thoda confused, anyone been through this?
When I was trying to conceive, I used to do light workouts, but once I got pregnant I developed gestational diabetes and had to totally change my routine and diet. For stomach exercises, don't do anything high-impact like heavy crunches. Stick to gentle walks and healthy food habits from now itself.
Please be very careful with any core-heavy exercises or intense abdominal workouts while TTC. I had some severe complications early on, so my gynac strictly told me to avoid strenuous stomach exercises after ovulation. It is best to ask your doctor what is safe for your body type.
I did basic yoga and light stretching during my TTC days and it kept me so active and happy. Avoid very heavy gym workouts or crunches that put too much pressure on your lower abdomen. A happy, stress-free body is the best way to welcome your little one!
Haha, trust me, your stomach is going to do enough stretching later on, especially if you end up with twins like me! Skip the hardcore abs workouts for now. Just focus on general fitness, light walks, and enjoying this time before the real chaos begins!
Honestly, I used to panic about every single movement and thought exercises would ruin my chances! But my doctor assured me that mild core exercises are absolutely normal and won't affect implantation. Just don't overexert yourself or lift heavy weights.
