I used to have amla juice every morning for immunity before pregnancy. Now im second guessing everything I put in my mouth. Is it okay to continue or should I stop for now?
I was careful with juices because of my sugar levels, so I ate fresh amla or murabba in tiny amounts instead. Whole fruit is better than juice for that reason. Please confirm with your doctor if you have any sugar issues.
Amla is full of vitamin C and my mother always said it is good for immunity. I had a small amount diluted with water and it was fine for me. But it can be sour on the stomach, so do check once with your doctor if you have acidity.
In moderation its generally considered healthy, lots of vitamin C and good for skin and hair too. Just dont have it in large quantities or on an empty stomach. As always, a quick word with your gynac settles it.
