Was feeling very nauseous and somehow limca sounds so good right now. Im in first trimester. Thoda confused if cold drinks are ok or i should just skip. anyone?
Honestly, with twins, my acidity was so bad I practically wanted to drown in Limca! Having a few sips once in a while to curb nausea won't harm anyone. Just don't drink it like water because that gas and sugar will make your bloating even worse!
I totally understand how frustrating it is when u just want something fizzy and refreshing to settle your stomach, dear. But try to limit Limca because it has too much sugar and preservatives which aren't good for your precious baby. Maybe try fresh sweet lime juice with a little black salt instead?
Yaar, pregnancy cravings can drive u crazy actually! I used to crave chilled Limca a lot, but my gynac said the high sugar and gas can cause bad acidity. Better to go for home-made fresh nimbu soda with less sugar if u want that fizzy kick.
Yes, having it occasionally is perfectly fine, but don't make it a daily habit. Limca doesn't have any real nutrients and is packed with sugar and carbonation. If you are having bad morning sickness, fresh ginger-lemon water is a much healthier option.
I think a few sips of Limca might be fine if you are feeling very nauseous, but maybe avoid drinking whole bottles. I'm also trying to learn about what is safe and what is not, so it's always better to ask your elder family members or doc once.
