I like ragi malt in the morning and it also keeps me full for some time. Now my MIL says it is good in pregnancy but my cousin said ask once. Did anyone drink it daily?
Ragi itself is great and nutritious. Just one thing, go easy on the sugar or jaggery in the malt, especially if your sugar levels are being watched. I made mine lightly sweet. Otherwise it's a healthy drink.
Oh yes, ragi malt is lovely in pregnancy, my amma made it for me often. Good for calcium and iron and easy on the tummy. Have it freshly made and not too much sugar. My doctor was happy with it.
Ragi malt is a cheap and nutritious option, way better than fancy health drinks honestly. Calcium, iron, all in one. Make it at home, keep sugar low, and it covers a lot without spending much.
Yes you can, ragi is full of calcium and iron, really good during pregnancy. Have it in moderation and freshly prepared. I had it for breakfast many days. No issue at all.
