Im 14 weeks and hing is in almost every dal and sabzi at home na. MIL uses it daily. Suddenly got worried whether its okay in this amount during pregnancy. Did anyone ask their doc about this?
Beta a tiny pinch of hing in your dal or sabzi is fine, we always added it for digestion. Just dont take big amounts as a remedy, in normal cooking quantity it is okay.
Honestly the smell of hing made me gag during my sick weeks haha. But a small pinch in food never harmed me, my gynac just said keep it in normal cooking amount.
