Winters here and my mom makes bajra rotis at home all the time. Im 5 months pregnant and just want to be sure its okay to keep eating it regularly. Anyone had it through pregnancy?
Yes bajra is good, its full of iron and fibre, my family ate it especially in winters. I had bajra roti often and felt nice and full. Just balance it with other grains, and your doctor will confirm whats right for you.
Bajra is cheap, filling and healthy, perfect for pregnancy on a budget. I ate it as roti and khichdi. Simple ghar ka grain, no need for expensive stuff yaar.
I liked bajra because it kept me full longer and is high in fibre, good for digestion. I balanced it with other grains so my diet stayed varied. My doctor was happy with it being part of my meals.
Beta bajra is a strength giving grain, we always used it in cold months. It keeps you warm and is good for digestion. Just dont eat only that, keep variety, and check with doctor if sugar is a concern.
Bajra is actually nice because its high fibre and didnt spike my sugar much. But I still kept the portion in check since I had GD. If your sugar is fine, enjoy it, else ask your doctor about quantity.
