Its getting really hot here and i feel like having kharbooja all the time. Someone told me melons should be avoided in pregnancy but doc never said anything. Anyone eating it regularly?
Yaar, I ate so much cantaloupe during my third trimester because I was always thirsty and too tired to even chew. Go for it, at least it keeps u hydrated while u struggle to sleep at night!
I honestly don't know the medical side of it, but personally I ate sweet kharbuja almost every day in my second trimester. It suited me really well and helped with my morning sickness.
My little one is a toddler now and loves kharbuja, and I remember eating it so much when I was pregnant with him. It is completely fine, don't stress over these small food items, enjoy your pregnancy.
I found cantaloupe amazing for hydration when I was pregnant, and even now while feeding it helps keep my energy up. Just make sure to eat it fresh and don't store cut pieces in the fridge for too long.
