I put laung in tea and sometimes chew one for tooth smell, but now I am pregnant and doubtful. I dont mean medicine, just normal kitchen use. Is it okay?
My saas adds laung to almost everything haha and I ate it all through pregnancy, no issue. Just in cooking amounts though. For anything more I'd ask the doctor.
Cloves used in regular cooking are generally considered safe. Concentrated forms or clove oil in large amounts is where caution comes in. If ur using it medicinally for anything, just run it by ur gynac.
In normal cooking amounts laung is fine beta, we use it in everyday food anyway. Just dont eat handfuls or take it as some heavy remedy. As masala in dishes its no problem.
