I love curd and have it almost daily with my meals. But my MIL keeps saying avoid curd at night during pregnancy, you will catch cold. Now im confused, is curd actually ok or not? specially in this hot weather i really crave it.
Curd was my best friend in pregnancy honestly, raita, chaas, sweet lassi, everything. It settled my acidity too. Just dont overdo the sugary lassi part, learnt that the slightly hard way.
Yes absolutely, curd is great in pregnancy. Good for digestion and calcium. I had a bowl daily, just have it fresh and not too sour. No reason to avoid it.
Curd is healthy beta, only thing some elders say is dont eat it very late at night if you catch cold easily. During day time it is wonderful. Homemade dahi is best.
