Hi everyone, I love dried apricots and was wondering if they are safe to eat during pregnancy. I'm in my first trimester and trying to be careful with my diet. Any advice would be helpful!
Since I had PCOS before conceiving, I was super cautious about sugar spikes. Dried apricots are safe, but maybe limit to 1 or 2 a day, and always best to run it by your gynac once.
Yes u can eat them, they are a great natural source of iron and saves money on expensive brand supplements. We have to plan so many test costs and hospital delivery packages anyway, so healthy home food is the best budget-friendly way.
I actually had some dried apricots last week because of my sweet cravings, but was wondering if there is any daily limit? Let me know if u find out, my MIL says dry fruits are good but we shouldn't overdo it.
They are completely fine to eat and actually have good iron content, but just stick to a few daily. My husband always says moderation is key, especially with dried fruits since they are concentrated in natural sugar.
