My MIL makes drumstick sambar almost every week and now im in my second trimester. Just want to be sure its okay to keep eating it regularly. Anyone else having it without any issue?
We make drumstick sambar at home all the time and i ate it through my pregnancy. My amma says it has good iron and calcium. It was fine for me, but i kept it cooked well, not raw.
Drumstick is quite nutritious yaar, many here had it without any issue. Just have it cooked properly as part of regular meals. The leaves are also good but eat in moderation.
