I usually have 2 eggs every morning for protein and im 14 weeks now. Someone told me daily egg is too much during pregnancy. Is it actually fine to continue or no? curious what others do.
I ate one egg almost daily through my pregnancy and it was fine, good protein. Just make sure it's fully cooked, no runny yolk or half boiled. My delivery was normal and the doctor was happy with my protein intake.
I was focusing on protein since my doctor allowed light exercise and I wanted to stay strong. Eggs were a staple for me, one or two a day, always fully cooked. Paired with my walks it kept my energy good.
Honestly egg was my lifesaver, quick to make before work. Boiled egg or a proper omelette in the morning kept me full till lunch. Daily one is fine, just cook it well, that's the only rule I followed.
My gynac actually recommended eggs for protein and choline which is good for baby's brain. She said one to two well cooked eggs a day is perfectly fine for most women. The key thing she stressed was no raw or undercooked egg to avoid infection.
