Got some fresh ber from the market and really craving it, but not sure if its safe right now. Im in my first trimester. Anyone had jujube during pregnancy?
Yaar, actually ber is totally safe to eat during pregnancy, so don't worry. It's great for immunity and digestion, but just limit the quantity because too many can cause body heat or stomach upset. Wash them super well before eating, okay?
Oh, I'm currently 6 months pregnant and my mom got me some fresh jujubes yesterday! They taste amazing with a bit of salt. Are you having any specific cravings for them or just asking generally?
I also love eating ber but since we are trying to conceive, I've been researching safe foods. From what I read, jujube is safe in moderate amounts, but maybe check with a doctor if you have any pre-existing health issues.
I was so worried about eating any seasonal fruits like ber, thinking they might cause a cold or throat infection! But honestly, having 4-5 well-washed jujubes is totally fine and healthy. Just make sure they are completely ripe and clean.
Haha, I used to crave sour things so much with my twins and ate quite a few jujubes (ber)! They are perfectly safe and actually have good vitamin C, just wash them nicely because they often have little worms inside. Don't eat too many in one go though!
