I'm craving pizza and chips so badly lately, like all day I just want junk. I do feel a little guilty after eating it na. Is it okay to give in once in a while or should I fully avoid? Pls share.
Beti, cravings toh honge hi. Lekin bahar ka junk food accha nahi hota. Ghar pe banake khao, jaise homemade chaat ya sandwich. Thoda bahut chal jaata hai, par roz nahi. Always prefer fresh aur ghar ka bana hua. Health pe dhyan do.
Given my past, I was extremely cautious with everything I ate. I would strongly advise minimizing junk food as much as possible. Focus on nutrient-dense foods for your baby's development. It’s better to be safe and give your baby the best start, even if it means missing out on some cravings.
I had a completely normal delivery, and yes, sometimes I did indulge in a small packet of chips or a slice of pizza. It's about moderation, not complete restriction. Just make sure your main diet is healthy and nutritious, and don't make it a daily habit.
During pregnancy, everything you eat goes to your baby, so nutritious food is really important. A little bit of junk food here and there won't harm, but try to make healthy choices most of the time. It sets a good foundation, even for when you're breastfeeding.
With my thyroid issue during pregnancy, my diet was closely monitored. My doctor told me occasional small treats were fine, but regular junk food could impact my health and baby's development. So, it's crucial to balance cravings with your health conditions and regular doctor follow-ups.
Oh my god, this is my biggest fear when I get pregnant! How will I resist my cravings? I guess very occasionally it's okay, but it's so hard to control. What did everyone else do? Any tips to curb those junk food cravings?
Eating too much junk food can lead to unnecessary weight gain, gestational diabetes, or other issues, which could mean more doctor visits, tests, and potential hospital costs. From a practical and budget point of view, it's better to stick to healthier, home-cooked food. Save money and stay healthy!
