I love eating kismis (raisins) as a snack, but now that I'm pregnant, I'm checking everything I eat. Are kismis safe to consume during pregnancy, or should I avoid them?
I recently delivered my baby and during my pregnancy, I used to eat a handful of soaked kismis every morning. It really helped with my constipation issues and gave me a nice energy boost. Just don't overeat them as they are sweet.
My mother suggested eating soaked raisins daily for iron, but I still confirmed with my doctor first. The doctor said they are very good in moderation, especially if you have low hemoglobin. You can definitely include them in your daily diet.
I totally understand wanting to eat sweet things or dry fruits when you are expecting. Kismis is actually very safe and packed with good nutrients for you and your sweet baby. Just enjoy a few everyday, they are wonderful for health!
Haan na, kismis khana bilkul safe hai aur constipation ke liye to bohot achha hota hai. Bas direct khane se achha hai ki raat ko paani me bhigo ke rakho aur subah khao. Hamare ghar me sab aise hi suggest karte hain.
