I started craving kiwi a lot these days, dont know why but i just want it. My mom said be careful with sour fruits in pregnancy so now im confused. Anyone ate it regularly?
Yes kiwi is fine, it's loaded with vitamin C and folate. I ate it in both pregnancies, just wash it well and dont overdo any one fruit. Variety is better than eating tons of the same thing.
I LOVE kiwi, had a serious craving for it around month 5. So tangy and refreshing yaar. I ate it as is and also in fruit chaat, no problem at all. Just dont eat the whole tray in one sitting like I almost did lol.
Kiwi is generally good but since I had sugar issues I kept fruit portions small and watched timing. If your sugar is normal a kiwi or two is totally fine. Just keep it balanced and ask gynac if u have any diet restrictions.
We eat kiwi at home, my mother said any fresh washed fruit in moderation is good for baby. It helped a bit with my constipation too actually. As long as you're not allergic to it, it's a nice addition.
