My MIL keeps giving me fresh coconut and nariyal pani saying it's good for the baby. But then a neighbour aunty said too much is not good early on. Now im confused yaar. Is it okay to eat?
Yesss I was craving nariyal pani like crazy in my pregnancy haha. Its refreshing and good for u. The malai inside is yum too, just dont eat a whole coconut in one go.
Of course, we eat coconut a lot down south and its totally fine in pregnancy. Nariyal pani especially is so good for hydration. My mom made me drink it often, but in normal amounts, not overdo.
Haan beta nariyal pani toh bahut accha hai, keeps the body cool and helps with acidity also. Fresh coconut bhi kha sakti ho. Bas everything in moderation rakho.
Coconut is fine, but if u have sugar issues like I did, just watch how much coconut water u drink as it has natural sugar. Otherwise totally healthy. Maybe check with doc if u r diabetic.
