Craving maggi so badly these days yaar, 2nd trimester chal raha hai. MIL keeps saying packet wala stuff avoid karo. Is occasional noodles really ok or not?
I was actually wondering about this too because I love spicy ramen. Is it okay to have instant noodles or do we need to stick to whole wheat ones? Let me know what your doctor said!
I am also planning and keep reading about food safety. I think eating a little bit of homemade noodles with extra veggies should be perfectly fine, but avoiding too much ajinomoto is better.
Oh god, I used to think even one bite of noodles would harm my baby! But my gynac laughed and said craving junk is normal. Just limit the processed ones and eat healthy mostly.
I know cravings can be very strong, but I was extremely careful after my loss. If you really want, have homemade noodles with lots of fresh veggies and very less artificial masala. Always check with your doctor first if you feel unsure about any processed food.
I felt so much guilt when I craved spicy noodles in my first trimester. But my doc said craving a little comfort food is totally fine occasionally. I just made sure it was properly cooked and hot.
Honestly, I ate maggi at 2 AM so many times because baby kept me awake! Just don't make it a daily habit. Throw in some veggies to feel less guilty about eating junk.
