Can we eat pomegranate in empty stomach during pregnancy?
My mom keeps giving me anaar juice first thing in morning, says its good for baby. But thoda confused if khali pet is okay or it should be after breakfast. Im in 2nd trimester. Anyone doing this?
Beta, anar is very good for blood health, but eating it empty stomach can sometimes trigger gas or acidity for some girls. If you feel fine, you can have it. Or else, have a glass of warm water first or a light biscuit, then eat the fruit.
Yesss, absolutely! 🍎 Pomegranate is like a superfood during pregnancy! It gave me so much energy in the mornings. Enjoy your fresh bowl of anar, it’s great for you and the little one!
I used to have pomegranate in the morning and it really helped with my iron levels. After my C-section, recovery was tough and healthy eating during pregnancy really made a difference in my strength. Just see if it causes any acidity, otherwise it's great.
In our family, elders always say that eating red fruits early morning is very auspicious and good for health. My mother-in-law insisted on it, but I still asked my doctor just to be sure. My gynac said it's perfectly fine as long as it doesn't cause heartburn.
Pomegranate is great, but honestly, it can get a bit expensive in some seasons. I used to buy it in bulk to save some money because we were planning for delivery expenses and hospital bills. It's a great natural way to keep hemoglobin up so you can save on extra iron supplements if doctor agrees.
