Im 7 weeks and craving raw mango like crazy, the khatta one with salt. MIL keeps saying avoid in starting months. Is it actually ok or should I wait? anyone ate it na?
U can definitely have some raw mango, just don't go overboard. I had a lot of cravings during my pregnancy before my C-section delivery last year, and kacha aam was one of them. Just eat a few slices at a time so u dont get any digestion issues or throat infection.
Honestly, raw mango is totally fine to eat but just keep the quantity in check. My husband always says moderation is key in early weeks, and make sure u wash it really well to avoid any dirt or infections. Thoda sa salt ke saath khao for nausea, but don't overdo it otherwise acidity ho sakti hai.
Omg yes! I literally survived my first trimester on kacha aam with namak and mirch, it was my ultimate craving. It actually helped so much with my morning sickness. Just don't eat too much at once, otherwise pet kharab ho sakta h. Enjoy your cravings girl!
Kacha aam is actually great for soothing nausea, try eating it with a pinch of black salt and jeera powder. But please eat in limit, too much sour stuff can sometimes trigger acidity or loose motions. And remember, if u ever feel severe stomach cramps or heavy vomiting, directly call your gynac instead of trying home remedies.
Same here, I am also 8 weeks pregnant and constantly craving kachi keri! I was also a bit scared if it's safe because some elders say it causes body heat. Did your doctor say anything about how much we can eat daily?
Aww this brings back so many memories of my pregnancy days! I used to crave sour things so much and raw mango was my absolute favourite. Go ahead and enjoy it, just listen to your body and stay hydrated. This beautiful phase will fly by so fast, touchwood.
