I love eating raw sprouts as part of my healthy diet, especially moong dal sprouts. But now that I'm pregnant, I'm not sure if they are safe to consume. Should I avoid raw sprouts altogether?
For protein, sprouts are awesome but make sure they are fully boiled, raw is a big risk right now. I still do my light yoga sessions and morning walks daily since my gynac allowed it, helps with digestion so much!
Pls avoid raw ones as they can cause severe stomach infections. It is always better to double check with your gynac before adding such things to your diet. Safety first!
Honestly, raw sprouts are a big no during pregnancy because of bacteria risks. Cook them nicely instead. Also, if you have thyroid issues like I did, make sure to get your regular doctor follow-ups and blood tests done on time.
Listen, raw sprouts have a high risk of food poisoning because of how they grow. Just boil or sauté them well with some veggies and salt, it tastes much better and is totally safe for the baby. Chill and eat cooked ones!
Hey, don't stress too much about food rules, but definitely avoid raw sprouts okay? They can have bad bacteria like salmonella. Just cook them properly or make a nice hot stir-fry instead.
I totally understand how much you want to eat healthy things right now for your little sweetheart! But please steam those sprouts instead of raw, we can't take any risk with infections. Sending u so much love.
