My husband and I were planning a trip to a hill station next month. I'll be in my second trimester then. Is it safe to travel to a hill station during pregnancy, considering the altitude and roads?
Going to hills is fine but the high altitude can make you feel breathless easily. I only did light walking and easy yoga after my gynac gave green signal. Don't strain your body with long treks there!
Travelling now is much easier than travelling after birth, especially if you have a C-section delivery later like I did, where recovery takes time. Just travel comfortably, don't sit for too long, and take short breaks.
Haan na, humein bhi bahut mann tha par those steep curvy roads can cause nausea and dizziness. Gynac se ek baar permission le lo because road conditions are important. Safe travel ho tumhara!
My toddler keeps me so busy now, but I remember going to Lonavala when I was 5 months pregnant. Just take it slow, don't walk on slippery slopes, and enjoy the cool weather!
Oh god, please go and enjoy the peaceful hills before the baby arrives and robs you of all your sleep! Just make sure the roads aren't too bumpy and your doc is okay with it. Trust me, you need this break.
Safar me ulti aati hai toh thoda sa ginger keep in your mouth, it helps. But avoid going to very high altitude places where oxygen is less. Stay safe and eat fresh food only.
I totally understand how much you want to cherish these special months with a beautiful trip. Just protect your precious self, travel by a safe vehicle, and don't do any hectic sightseeing.
Arre, humare yahan toh log bolte hain pregnancy me jyada safar nahi karna chahiye, especially hill station ki tedhi-medhi sadkein. If you really want to go, take many breaks in between and keep eating ghar ka khana. Take care beta.
Actually, the second trimester is the safest time for travel according to most trackers I followed. Just log the trip in your app and make sure there is a good hospital nearby the resort just in case.
Personally, I would suggest avoiding hill stations because those bumpy curves and sudden pressure changes can be risky. Having lost a baby before, I always advise being extra safe and avoiding long road trips.
