Can we go to theatre during first trimester pregnancy?
My husband planned a movie this weekend before i found out im pregnant. Im only 7 weeks and a bit worried about the loud sound and crowd. Is it ok to go in early pregnancy or should i skip?
I remember going for a movie in my 10th week, and I felt so nervous and kept holding my stomach the entire time. But looking back, it was just my silly anxiety. It's a nice way to spend some quality time with your husband before the baby comes.
Yes absolutely, you can go and enjoy a movie! Just make sure you sit comfortably and take a walk during the interval. I went to the theater multiple times and had a completely normal delivery later.
I completely panicked in my first trimester when my husband booked movie tickets, thinking the loud sound would harm the baby. But actually, the baby is well-cushioned inside the womb and the sound doesn't affect them at all. Go enjoy your movie, it is totally fine!
I recently delivered my baby, and honestly, movie dates are what I miss the most right now! I went to theaters even in my second trimester. Just choose a theater with comfortable reclining seats so u don't get back pain.
When I was staying at my parents' house, my mom allowed me to go for a movie but advised me to avoid crowded places and outside food. Try to carry your own water bottle and some home-made snacks to be safe.
Oh my god, the loud surround sound and those dark stairs always make me so anxious! What if someone accidentally bumps into you in the dark? If you do go, please wait for the crowd to exit first before you get up from your seat, okay? Take care!
While it is generally fine, the first trimester is very delicate. If you have any history of spotting, cramping, or if your gynac has advised bed rest, please avoid going. It is always better to take a quick confirmation from your doctor first.
