I got a positive test but noticed some bleeding around the time my period was due and it confused me a lot. I plan to ask my gynac but wanted to hear from u all first, is this period or something else?
No, actual periods stop once u conceive. What u might see is some spotting, light brown or pink, which can be normal early on. But if its like a proper flow with pain, thats not a period, get to ur doctor and dont ignore it.
I had a little spotting early and panicked thinking it was a period. My doctor said real periods dont happen in pregnancy and checked me to be sure all was ok. So if u see any bleeding, better to just get it confirmed na, dont guess.
My doctor explained that u cant have a real period once ur pregnant, the bleeding people see is usually something else like implantation spotting or other reasons. So if ur pregnant and bleeding, it should not be brushed off as a period, get it checked to be safe.
Not a true period dear, that stops when ur expecting. A bit of light spotting can be okay for some, but anything more should be looked at by the doctor. If ur seeing blood right now, please ring ur gynac, just for peace of mind.
Please dont assume any bleeding in pregnancy is just a period, it is not. Some light spotting can happen and be harmless, but bleeding can also be a warning sign. I would say any bleeding when ur pregnant, call ur gynac the same day, dont wait it out.
