I'm craving achar like crazy these days, especially aam ka achar with every meal. My MIL keeps saying too much namak isn't good for baby. Is a little bit ok or should I totally avoid?
Actually, pickles are okay in moderation but my doctor specifically warned me about the high sodium and oil content. It can increase blood pressure and cause terrible heartburn. Better to eat small home-made portions rather than store-bought ones.
Achar is fine to satisfy cravings occasionally, dear, just don't overdo it. Keep your mind peaceful, stay positive and eat home-cooked healthy food. God will keep everything perfect for you.
See, there's no harm in a little piece of achar with your paratha when u have cravings. But high salt can lead to water retention and swelling, so keep it limited. Just stay hydrated and make sure it's hygienic!
Honestly, I keep wondering about these small things too while preparing myself for this journey. I think having a little bit of achar for taste is totally fine, but maybe too much salt isn't good. Let's hope we get to experience these cravings soon!
Same here, even I've heard so much about pregnancy and pickle cravings! I'm planning too and literally wondering if we have to cut out spicy pickles completely. Good to know from others that we can eat thoda bahut!
