We usually eat sitting on the floor at home and i also like sitting cross legged. Now that im in my second trimester my mom says avoid it. Is it actually a problem or fine to keep doing? what did u all do.

Its perfectly fine to sit on the floor dear, just be gentle getting up so you dont strain or feel giddy. Keep something to hold for support. Do whats comfortable for your body.
My gynac actually said floor sitting like cross legged is okay and even good for the hips, as long as I'm comfortable. But she said avoid squatting deep in late pregnancy unless she okays it. Check with yours too.
Sitting on the floor is generally fine, infact some say it helps later on. Just dont get up suddenly, take support so you dont feel dizzy. Avoid positions that strain your back in later months.
During pregnancy I sat on the floor fine, but after my C-section it was hard so I switched to chairs. While pregnant just listen to your body and use support getting up. No need to force any position.
