I always sleep flat on my back, thats my comfortable position since forever. Now im 20 weeks and read somewhere we shouldnt. honestly im finding side sleeping so uncomfortable. is flat really not ok na?
Oh my god, I remember how hard it was to sleep comfortably! I felt so tired, but sleeping flat on my back started feeling really weird and a bit breathless after some time in my second trimester. My doctor told me it's because the uterus puts pressure on a major vein. So I learned to sleep on my side with a pregnancy pillow. It made such a huge difference, honestly.
It's best to avoid sleeping flat on your back, especially as your pregnancy progresses. Your body will naturally tell you what feels right and what doesn't. Doctors usually advise sleeping on your side, particularly the left, to ensure good blood flow. Just listen to your body and pray for a peaceful rest. God is watching over you both.
Honestly, sleeping flat on your back becomes really uncomfortable and is generally not recommended past the first trimester. It can restrict blood flow to you and the baby. I know finding a comfortable position is tough, especially when you're tired from work. Try sleeping on your side with a pillow between your knees. It takes some getting used to, but it's important.
Ho na, actually flat nahi sona chahiye after the first trimester, specially. Because baby bada hota hai na, toh woh blood vessels pe pressure dal sakta hai. Left side pe sona best hai, ya right side pe bhi. Ek pillow laga lo legs ke beech mein, bahut comfortable lagta hai. Try karke dekho.
Sleep flat? Haha, what's that? In my third trimester, I feel like I need a whole architecture team to construct a comfortable sleeping position! Seriously though, doc says strictly no flat on back. The baby gets too big and presses on everything important. So it's side-sleeping with a fortress of pillows for me! Good luck finding your sweet spot!
