I have a bad throat infection and the regular doctor gave me antibiotics but now im scared to take it in pregnancy. Im in my second trimester. Is it safe na or should i ask my gynac first?
Please never self medicate with antibiotics now. There are safe options but only the doctor knows which. I always checked with mine before taking anything during pregnancy.
Some antibiotics are safe in pregnancy and some are not, so you really cant just take any from the chemist. When i needed one my husband always said get it prescribed for pregnancy. Just call your gynac, they will pick a safe one.
Haan dont take any antibiotic without asking na. My doc gave me a safe one when i had an infection and it was fine. Just dont pick random tablets from medical store.
