I'm really craving something fizzy these days, and Limca is my go-to drink. I wanted to ask if it's okay to have Limca while I'm pregnant. Is it safe for me and the baby?
Actually yaar, occasional craving ke liye a thoda sa Limca is fine, but daily mat peena. It has a lot of sugar and gas which can increase your bloating or heartburn. Fresh nimbu paani is way better and safer!
Behan, cold drink me bahut gas aur cheeni hoti hai, isse pregnancy me acidity badh sakti hai. Kabhi kabhaar thoda sa pi liya toh theek hai, par roz mat pina. Ghar pe bana nimbu pani pi lo, woh fayda karega.
I know Limca or anything bubbly feels like heaven when you are feeling super nauseous! An occasional small glass is fine to settle your stomach, but don't overdo it as the gas can backfire later and cause severe bloating.
A small glass of Limca once in a while is totally fine to beat the heat or nausea! 🍋 But don't make it a habit because of the high sugar content. Fresh coconut water is a much healthier option! 🥥
Having gone through IVF, I was extremely cautious about anything artificial. I avoided carbonated drinks like Limca entirely due to the preservatives and high sugar. If you have cravings, maybe try fresh lime juice with black salt, it's much safer.
Whenever I craved something fizzy, my mother would make fresh sweet and sour shikanji at home instead of letting me drink Limca. It is much healthier for the baby and safe. Try to avoid store-bought cold drinks as much as possible.
Limca has high sugar and artificial carbonation, so it's not the healthiest choice. I preferred fresh lemonade (nimbu paani) during my evening walks. An occasional sip of Limca is fine, but check with your doctor before having carbonated drinks regularly.
