We're trying this month and im getting so impatient, its been only a few days since ovulation. I know its probably too early but the wait is killing me. How long do i actually need to wait before testing?
Testing right after ovulation is too early, the hCG hasnt built up yet. My doc told me to wait till the day of my missed period for an accurate result. If you test too soon you'll likely get a false negative and just stress yourself.
I get the urge to test immediately, I was the worst at this. But honestly testing too soon just gave me more anxiety with unclear results. Waiting for the missed period was the only thing that gave a real answer.
Technically you can pee on a stick anytime but it wont mean much that early. Give it till your missed period, otherwise the result isnt reliable. I waited and saved myself the heartache of false negatives.
My tracker app actually told me the same, around 14 days after ovulation or after the missed period for a clear result. Testing the day after ovulation is way too early. Wait a bit, it's worth it.
