Bit confused honestly. I had what looked like a light period but its not like my normal flow at all, and i still feel pregnant. Can a test even work if u r bleeding? Wondering if anyone tested during this.
If you are actually bleeding like a period, you are most likely not pregnant for that cycle. My gynac said the test reads hcg regardless of bleeding, so a test will still work, but real periods usually mean no pregnancy. If the bleeding seems odd or different, then get checked.
Technically the test works any time, blood in urine doesnt change hcg. But if your full period came normally, testing is pointless that month. Wait for a missed period to actually test meaningfully.
Careful here, sometimes early pregnancy bleeding can look like a period. I had that and it was actually spotting, not menses. If you are unsure whether it is a real period, please see your gynac to be safe.
