Have to go to my mom's place which is like 6 hrs by bus. Im in 2nd trimester, feeling okay mostly but thoda worried about all the jhatkas on the road. Did anyone travel long distance by bus, was it fine?
Please be so careful! I keep worrying about the potholes and the sudden brakes on buses, what if there is a sudden jerk that causes spotting? Honestly, it's just too risky in my opinion, please ask your doctor before booking anything.
A big yes to comfortable travel, but maybe skip the bus if the road is too bumpy! 🚌 Sweety, check with your gynac first. If it's a short smooth ride it might be okay, but carry water and sit in the middle seat! 👍
Oh god, please avoid if u can! Our Indian roads are basically craters and the bus drivers drive like they are in F1 racing. My bladder was already screaming every 5 mins, I can't imagine doing that on a bouncy bus right now.
I had a C-section and keeping your body rested and free from heavy jerks during pregnancy makes a huge difference in how your body heals later. If you absolutely must travel, choose a train or a smooth car ride. Be very gentle on your back and stomach.
I'm in my second trimester now and literally thinking the same thing! My MIL says absolutely no local bus travel because of the sudden jerks on our roads. Are you planning a long journey or just daily commute?
